I have a Glogster question for everybody. We try to encourage our students to cite all pictures and quotes that are not uniquely their own. I have only looked at some of the posters created on Glogster. Is there a way for the creators to give credit to the source of their pictures, audio files, etc., if they are not original?

I just tried to comment Mary's blog on blogspot and could not figure it out. Do I have to open an acount at blogspot to be able to comment?

If you go to the right of this page under the heading "Side Bar" and click on 2011 participants, then from there click on the week of class that we are in, you (Week 4 currently) this will give you the assignment list. At least this is how I'm getting there. I hope this helps.

Maya, I don't think there are set discussion groups for this class. We are all one big happy group of collaborators. Our assignments are weekly and are broken down my weeks on the side bar. I think! Please jump in if I have mis information.

Does anyone know of a tool for showing how a data set affects a population over time? Apple had one a few years ago; I think it was an app under "numbers", but I can't remember now. I'm specifically looking for something that kids can input data values about invasive species and see how much time it takes for the invasive species to disrupt the food chain of particular ecosystems. Thanks for any help!

My final project consists of an online scavenger hunt. Through this activity students will be introduced to blogs in general as well as our classroom blog. They will learn how to use the blog to access course content and how to participate in class discussions. They will also be prompted to investigate the syllabus and other documents posted on the blog, as well as answer a few questions about their textbook and my classroom.
